Originally the warming kitchen where the family meals were kept
heated in the large fireplace, our little rejuvenated café is as
charming as it is cozy. You can indulge in a frozen margarita or
lemonade as you finish the tour or browse the museum, enjoy a
hot-meal-to-go of chicken & sausage jambalaya or red beans &
sausage, or just relax
on the shady porch and sample a variety of mini desserts, gourmet
ice cream, cookies and coffee.
Le Café is open
Thursday through Sunday from
11am to 5 pm, and also serves as a
mini-bar for other refreshments, beer, wine and cocktails.
