Our Audio Tours let you to experience Nottoway in an entirely new way! Enjoy the flexibility of touring the mansion and grounds at your own pace as the “voice of John Randolph” guides you and shares the history and stories of Nottoway. You will receive a map, with numbers marking each point of interest, which you may follow in whatever order you prefer.
Audio Tours may be taken any time between 8 am and 8 pm. Guided Mansion Tours are still available from our costumed tour guides.

Let one of our friendly and knowledgable costumed tour guides lead you through the Mansion's spectacular rooms as she shares with you the details of Nottoway's lavish construction and the stories of her fascinating history, including her survival through the Civil War.
Completed in 1859, Nottoway's 53,000 square foot palatial mansion awes thousands of visitors a year who come to see such extravagant features as soaring 15 1/2' ceilings, enormous 11-foot doors, 22 massive exterior columns, hand-carved Italian marble fireplaces, exquisitely detailed plaster frieze moldings, and a pure white oval ballroom.
Tours are given from 9-4, 7 days a week, and on Thursday through Sunday, you can finish your tour with a traditional "Louisiana Meal-To-Go" from our Le Cafe or enjoy a favorite beverage or snack.
After your tour, enjoy a "Meal-To-Go", a tasting of traditional Louisiana food, from Lé Cafe. Available Thursday through Sunday on 11 am - 4 pm tours.
Originally the warming kitchen where the family meals were kept heated in the large fireplace, our little rejuvenated café is as charming as it is cozy.
You can indulge in a frozen margarita or lemonade as you finish the tour or browse the museum, enjoy a hot-meal-to-go of chicken & sausage jambalaya or red beans & sausage, or just relax on the shady porch and sample a variety of mini desserts, gourmet ice cream, cookies and coffee.
Le Café is open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 5 pm, and also serves as a mini-bar for other refreshments, beer, wine and cocktails.
